Chapter 4: kicking ass and taking names

It’s been 3 months since I became a pirate so far I have a bounty of  100 million. I’m known as angelic snow wolf because I use my human/wolf girl form and I use my ice powers to help me a little also about 2 weeks and 2 days into being a pirate I found a strange fruit it was a pale yellow with green swirls on it looked like an 8 pointed star when I ate the whole thing it tasted horrible like Brussels sprouts and beetroot mixed together any way when I finished it I later discovered it was the Karui Karui no mi the light light fruit, if you don’t know what I can do let me give you a quick lesson because I’m kind of running at the moment, all I have to do is think of a happy thought sound familiar peter pan reference any way I  can bend light to my will and do what I want however it cancels out my Ice abilities meaning I can only use one at a time and well sometimes I can’t use my ice abilities at all for a while. Oh, and as for why I am running I really pissed of a bunch of marines by oh I don’t know, blowing up their headquarters on Drum Island. What!? They chased after us because we’re pirates we just showed up then they chase us so I got even. I’m using my inu abilities to run while everyone was using their animal fruits to run their own way.

Lilly was running on all four using hers to turn into a cat girl she looked similar to me except she hat cat ears, a cat tail, tiny sharp teeth and her eyes looked like cat were a fuchsia colour. Ben turned into dragon boy and flew through the skies he has red dragon skin, dragon claws, dragon fangs, dragon wings, dragon tail and neon blue dragon eyes. Leo ran on all fours as well after he turned into a lion boy he was covered in yellow fur and had an orange mane, lion claws, lion tail, vibrant green eyes, lion fans and whiskers. John slithered because he turned in to his snake boy form he has scaly forest green skin, leaf green snake eyes, snake fangs, fork tongue and the lower half of his body is a snake tail with a yellow under belly. Rosemary was swimming under water by turning into a mermaid she has yellow eyes and a sapphire tale and finally Serena was flying with Ben by turning into a bird girl she has red eyes, white angel wings and pointy fangs, ok so maybe she’s more of an angel/vampire girl but still. Anyway we were surrounded and separated I looked around me ’40 marines’ I called out “crew! Won smrof latnemele ruoy otni egnahc!” they all call out separate words” MIZU!” “Ute!” “Kūki!” “Chikyū!” “Kaminari!” “Kusa!” then I shouted “Karui!” and finally at the same time we all shouted “Kagayaku!”

We all in a flash turned into our elemental forms Lilly had green skin and florescent pink hair, her arms turned into vines and her legs rooted into the earth. Serena’s skin was slightly grey and her eyes turned grey, her legs turned into a small tornado going around her waist. Ben had red skin and his eyes looked like a flame, his lower half was a huge flame. Leo had one eye electric yellow with a neon blue thunder bolt in the middle and the other eye neon blue with an electric yellow thunder bolt, his skin was yellow, his legs were just two massive thunder bolts entwined both the same colour as his eyes. John had and earthy brown skin and his legs was now a chunk of rock floating in the air with him of course. Rosemary’s eyes looked like water ripples, her hair looked like water, her legs now a drop water formation and her skin was a sea blue and as for me I turned into my light form my skin turns white with golden light particles covering my chest, my hair turns a light brown and the bottom half of my body is nothing but yellow light spheres and my eyes turn a golden yellow colour.

“Bring on the fire” I call out, Ben creates a fire storm and barbeques the marines around him. “Then bring on the water” rosemary water whips the marines around her. “the wind the earth and the plants show me your power” Serena creates a whirl wind blowing away the marines around her, Lilly binds the marines around her using vines from underground and John created a 3 meter trench under the marines around him. “Show me the thunder a power so bright” Leo electrocuted the marines around him “and finally let me out shine those who doubt us with my light!” I create a light ring around me and release it, knocking out the marines around me. Me and my crew leave I make our mark by using my light I make our pirate flag in the dark sky. We bolt to our ship but before I got on the ship an old lady stops me “excuse me, miss?” I turn to her “yes” “are you related to Portgas.D.Ace?” “Yes I’m his little sister why do you ask?” she handed me a piece of paper and left. I float onto the ship and transformed back to my normal form. I looked at the note the old lady gave me and read it:

Hey, Luffy, it’s Ace listen. me and Sabo are going to be in Alabasta for a while, we got business to do. If you get this message then come to Alabasta and see us. Oh, and have you heard from Kaitlyn I called home on the den den Moshi and Dadan was flipping out saying she found Kaitlyn's room trashed and what she thinks Kaitlyn’s blood splattered on the ground, me and Sabo are really worried. If you know where she is you call us please better yet tell her to contact us. See ya, your brother Ace.

I smiled and yelled “CREW!’ the all looked at me “Ben! Set a new course we’re heading to Alabasta!” the all cheer. ‘Hang on guys, I’m coming’

2 weeks later.

We arrived at Alabasta port we all changed into different cloths I’ll start with the boys Leo wore a yellow shirt, orange knee high pants, sandals and a pale yellow robe. Ben wore a red shirt, a pair of blue pants like Luffy, sandals and an orange robe. John wore a blue shirt, long blue pants, blue shoes and a green robe. Now onto the girls Serena wore a long white dress with long flowing sleeves, a yellow sash tied to her waist and white heeled shoes. Rosemary wore a blue crop top, a blue sash tied to her left wrist, black tights, a purple above the knee skirt and blue ankle boots. Lilly wore a brown crop top, a green sash tied to her left wrist, a long green skirt and heeled shoes with a vine design going around her ankle with a blue flower. And finally I wore a long red skirt with a pink sash spread a little to make it look like a pirate sash (if you don’t know what it look like go to my gallery and look for Rain.D.Kaitlyn’s profile picture) a red crop top, a red sash wrapped around from my left wrist to my left upper arm and red heeled shoes, oh and I’ve had my hair cut to my shoulder blades and had ice blue streaks on the edges of my hair and the edge of my fringed.

“All right guys, do what you want but here are the rules:

1. Don’t go to the restaurant that is crowded only the captain can.

2. If you see one of the straw hats stay away until told.

3. Be prepared for anything.

4. If you’re in danger, shoot our symbol in the sky.

Okay guys let’s go!” I shout, I jump off the ship and head into the city.

30 minutes later

I walk around looking at everything and no one seems to notice I’m a pirate then I see a wanted poster: wanted angelic snow wolf reward  100,000,000 dead or alive. ‘Hm, so I’m worth that much eh? Perfect.’ I start walking until I notice a crowded restaurant ‘Ace’ I walk through the crowd and see Ace face planted into his food and Sabo trying to wake him up. I roll my eyes and sit at the bar on the left side of Ace, everyone keeps telling me things like move away or I’ll get sick. I turn around and say “he’s not dead, he’s just a narcoleptic” the Ace sits up I turn back to the bar leaning my head on my right hand “w-what would y-y-you like to order mi-mi-miss?” the chef asks a little sacred “just a leg of meat and pomegranate juice please” I reply handing over  30. I sit with my eyes closed enjoying the peace and quiet until…”hey miss?” I heard Ace speak to me “yes?” “How did you know I’m a narcoleptic?” “Easy, you look tired, your breathing pattern and you face planted into your food while still breathing” my food came and I started eating. “Excuse me, miss?” this time I heard Sabo, I swallow my food “yes?” “You seem very familiar do we know you perhaps?” “It’s possible” I drank some of my juice and placed the cup down “well, better get going” I said before I heard “never expected a pair of pirates, especially the second division commander of the whitebeard pirates and the captain of the blue rose pirates, to be here, hello Portgas.D.Ace and Outlook.D.Sabo” I recognise that voice, smoker a marine captain. There are whispers going around the restaurant “What are pirates like you two doing in a place like this?” he asked “we’re looking for someone…” Ace said then turned around to face smoker “our little brother” he finished “what do you want anyway?” Sabo asked “I want the both of you to come quietly” smoker said “no thanks well pass” Ace smirked “I thought as much, lucky for the both of you, I’m looking for someone else” I smile thinking about how he means Luffy. “oh boo ho” Ace mocked “then just let us go” Sabo said “I’m afraid I can’t do that” smoker said.
Then I heard a hissing noise then smoker saying “not as long as I’m a marine and the both of you are pirates” “that’s not a good reason now is it, how about we give you one” Ace smirked then I heard “GUM GUM ROCKET!  Then I see smoker, Ace and Sabo go through the wall behind the counter. I smiled seeing how huge the hole was “ha-ha! Finally now I can eat!” I hear Luffy say he sits at the counter and demands lots of food.

The poor chef tries to warn Luffy of who he body slammed into the wall. I finish off my drink and leave the place I walk around for a while then change into a pair of sapphire blue quarter cut tights, tied with a neon blue sash, that had a chain that had a mini figure of Ace, Luffy and Sabo’s hats on it, a neon blue camisole that stopped 1 inch above my belly button, a thick gold bracelet on my right wrist, a bracelet with a red, blue, yellow and green stones on it, and a silver chain necklace with an ice blue four point star charm before I see Ace and Sabo up against smoker. I use my light abilities “blinding light” I call out then, a beam of light blinds smoker. Ace and Sabo run and I stay behind when the light wears off he rubs his eyes and looks at me. He looks shocked “Rain.D.Kaitlyn, so you are here. To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing the most dangerous and youngest pirate to ever sail the east blue?” he said looking really pissed “cut the crap smoker, I’m not here to talk I’m here to kick your ass” I growl. He smirks and tries to hit me with his smoke fist but I catch it using my ice “hey Smokey chemistry 101: what happens when a gas like substance such as smoke for example, is frozen in or by ice?” I asked mockingly his arm starts to turn solid and he starts flipping out “it becomes a solid” I finish as I smash his arm into pieces with one blow he drops to the ground in pain. I walk off leaving him there.

I walk into an ally where Ace, Sabo and Luffy are, I walk past them until…”hey, I know you!” I hear Luffy say. ’I gotta keep cool’ I silently chant an ice spell to make a mask of Ice “oh really?” I asked “hai! You’re the lady who helped my big brothers, thank you!” he laughed. I smiled “you’re welcome” I said as I kept walking when I remembered “by any chance do you guys know where the docks are?” I asked “hai! We’ll take you there” Luffy smiled “thank you” as we walked down Luffy kept talking about his crew, I smiled but, kept quiet, that’s when the bouroq works guys tried to attack us “hey! isn’t that straw hat Luffy and Outlook.D.Sabo?” one of them said “yeah! That’s them! Both are worth 30 million beli each!” said another “but that girl, could she be?” a third said “who?” “angelic snow wolf!?! Captain of the saviour pirates!?!” “yeah your right! It is her! Boss if we kill her we’ll get 100 million beli!” their boss smirked “perfect, my big promotion just got bigger, and it’s a hop, skip and 4 severed pirate heads away” we walked past him “so anyway about your crew…” I said when I seen them charging at us. There was a man who started attacking me with a sword, I ducked and dodged every hit until he got my arm “ow! Hey! not nice!” I yelled before soccer kicking his face, when I turn I see Sabo about to be ambushed ‘even as adults they need a babysitter’ I rush to his aid and move him “will you be careful! Baka, watch it!” I yell at him punching a guy’s face when I wasn’t looking. I turn my head to see the boss had been defeated. I started walking “you coming or not?” I called back; they all caught up “why did you help us” Sabo asked as we made it to the docks, I pulled out a whistle that only my crew could hear.

“Eh? What’s that?” Luffy asked “oh this? It’s a whistle only I and my friends can hear” I reply “then how come I couldn’t hear it?” Luffy asked again “I mean other friends” I smiled “there they are!” the bouroq works guys yelled from behind us “hey there’s my ship!” Luffy laughed as he jumped over the stone wall and on to the stone path below us, “hey! I see my ship!” “and we see the saviour pirates ship” Sabo says, “oh finally! Oi! How long does it take for you morons to get here! I could have been dead!” I yelled to my pirate ship “wait that’s your ship!?” Luffy asked “yeah hey, thanks for helping me, well bye!” as I was about to jump to my ship, Luffy held me back “wait! I want you to meet my crew!” he whined.

“Really? *sigh* fine I guess besides, I’m hunting down a no good pirate” I smiled ruffling his hair then he stretched his arm to his ship and launched “CREW! TO THE GOING-MERRY!” I yelled the command, the ship heads to the going-merry; I use my light abilities to float to Luffy’s ship. When I land on it, Luffy turns and smiles at me “hey guys! This is the girl I was telling you about” he laughed, “uh, Luffy we got trouble! The saviour pirates are boarding the ship!” Usopp panicked, my crew jumped onto the ship, “ah!” he cried, I turned to him “calm down, moron, they’re my crew” I snapped my crew revealed who they were “Serena? Is that really you?” Sanji asked she nodded and ran up to hug him, then Lilly then rosemary then john then ben ran up to hug their old friends “sorry captain but we couldn’t help ourselves, we really missed them” Lilly apologised I sighed.

“fine, any way we’ve met Luffy’s crew, now we leave come on” I started walking when my crew said “we can’t we want to stay” I turned and looked at them “so, a mutiny is that it?” I asked “no! We just want a little more time with them then we’ll leave, please captain” Lilly begged. I looked at her as she was almost in tears “fine, but only for a while then we leave to find ‘him’” they all nodded. I turned to see Ace in front of me “ya mind movin Portgas?” I asked “not until you tell me who you are” “no” “tell me” “I said no!” “tell me now, *groan* you’re as stubborn as my sister” “sister?” yeah, Rain.D.Kaitlyn” “oh, her, the wannabe pirate” “no the gonnabe pirate” I smile “well where is she?” “I-I *sigh* I don’t know, I wish I knew, just to tell her I miss her” I take my mask off and look up at him “missed you too Ace!” I laughed, he was stunned then pulled me into a wind-knocked-outta-ya hug “Kaitlyn! God I missed you!” he laughed I hugged him back “I missed you too big brother” I smiled, then he let me go, then Luffy looked over and ran up to me tackling me to the ground “Kai-Chan!! You’re ok! Hahaha! And you look so cool!” Luffy laughed and dragged me to his crew again “everyone! Remember that girl I showed you well guess what!?! Turns out it’s my little sister! Everyone this is my little sister, Rain.D.Kaitlyn!” everyone except my crew was shocked

20 minutes later

“so how long have you known Luffy, Kaitlyn?” Nami asked “about 10 years I grew up with him, Ace and Sabo. They were always a handful” I laughed “hey!” the three shouted “what? It’s true! I had to take care of the 3 of you guys 24/7!” “when!” Luffy said cranky “ok, Luffy remember when, and keep in mind this was when Ace wanted nothing to do with us and we haven’t met Sabo yet, Ace threw you into a tree and tied your arms together who got you out of the tree?” Luffy pouted “you did” “Ace when you broke your Bo pole and had no way of defending yourself against the thieves in the grey terminal who was there to help you and fix your pole?” he blushed and looked down “you did” “and Sabo, when you were beaten, battered and bruised after stealing gold from a noble who patched you up?” he smiled and rubbed the back of his neck “you did” “and finally when you three were sick with the flu for a month who got the food, stole the gold and looked after you three?” the bowed their heads in embarrassment “you did, Kai-Chan”

30 minutes later while walking up to Erumalu

“Are we in yuba already?” Luffy asked as we came up to a deserted town “no this is Erumalu it was known far and wide as the city of green” Vivi said looking at said city she went on and on about it until a whirl wind zoomed past us. Luffy ran forward towards a cloak “someone’s collapsed!” Nami exclaimed running to him. I caught up to Luffy and looked at not a person but a human skull. “Vivi” I said she kneeled down and placed her hands on the skull “what did my father and all the good people what did they ever do?” she cried I frowned “Vivi, you know they have done nothing” I said making her look up at me and my crew “we came to help Vivi-Chan!” Lilly said being serious “no matter who we are up against” Ben said “no matter how strong they are” Leo said “no matter how powerful they are” Rosemary said “no matter how many armies they have” John said “we shall never back down from a fight, we are the saviour pirates and we never give up” I said making he look up at us in awe. We hears a building collapse Luffy Sanji and Usopp walk towards us as we bury the skull “Vivi let’s go! I’m itching to do this” Luffy said determination shown in his eyes. I smile “let’s go” I said walking with them through the desert

40 minutes later

“ugh I’m tired” Lilly complained “oh don’t start that!” rosemary growled. It’s official I fucking hate the desert. I thought to myself as I had to wear clothes similar to Nami’s except in brown “this sucks! Captain! Can’t you just teleport us there or at least blow a blizzard breeze for us to cool down!” Lilly whines “I would if I could it’s too hot and there’s not enough water vapour in the air for me to create anything ice related and I can’t teleport anyone other than myself so suck it up and deal with it” I growled walking up the hill of sand “Oi! Kaitlyn!” I looked back at Usopp “doesn’t this heat bother you since you are an ice fruit user?” I nod “yeah it feels like it’s actually killing me to tell you the truth” I said smiling a little “eh!? Kai-Chan is dying!?!?!” Luffy freaked out running up to me he hugs me tight “don’t worry! I’ll save you!!!!” he cried “l-Luffy! I’m fine! Really! Now put me down!!!!” I tried to yell but Sabo plucked me out of Luffy’s grasp and placed me on the ground but held my hand I blushed “u-um Sabo you’re still holding my hand…” “I know but it’s been too long since I could be close to you, Kaitlyn” he said smiling I blushed more and looked down.

“so Rosemary where have you been all this time?” Zoro asked “well I was training a lot when I got kidnapped but only escaped after 3 years” “same for me only I didn’t get kidnapped and I woke up 4 years later” ben said “5 years for me” Lilly “2 years” John “7 years” Leo “1 year” Serena “what happened after that” Usopp asked “Serena happened” we all answered “so Captain why do you stay close to Ace Sabo and Luffy?~” Rosemary asked smirking at my red face “same reason you stay close to Zoro” then she blushed making me laugh.

~nightfall~

“crap! Captain it’s-” “I swear if you complain about the cold! I will kill you!” I sat down while my crew, except for Ben and John, huddled with chopper, Usopp, Zoro and Luffy. I shiver at the weather just because I’m an ice user doesn’t mean I’m immune to the cold. “what’s with the weather here! It was boiling hot a moment ago now it’s freezing” Nami complained “with the lack of clouds to act as insulation it’s scorching by day and freezing by night” Vivi answered. I wrapped my arms around my body when I felt someone place me in their lap and hold me. My body became warm almost instantly. I look up to see Ace smiling down at me “feeling better?” he asked I nod smiling and lean back into his chest “I missed this” I said “missed what?” “I missed being around you guys. It was so lonely without you guys around me, sure I had my crew but *cuddles into more* nothing like this” he held me closer “to tell you the truth I missed you to, Kaitlyn. your smile, your eyes, your hair even your sent hehehe I’m really glad I got to see you again” then I remembered “Ace remember when we first met and I told you how I predicted your future?” he looked down at me “yeah? You said I would die at impel down” “black beard is the reason you end up there” I turn around so that I’m sitting in his lap facing him. I caress his face with both of my hands and keep my face 2 inches away from his “you need to promise me something Ace. If you are still hell bent on perusing Black beard then I am coming with you. I won’t let you fight him alone understand?” I asked he was blushing but nodded “r-right” he answered I smiled and kissed his cheek then lied on his chest “thanks Ace. I can always trust you” I mumble before falling asleep.
